Lactation Boost Soup

Gentle nourishment for a strong postpartum recovery.
Specially crafted by our experienced TCM physicians, this recovery soup is designed to support new mothers through every stage of postpartum healing.

  • Lactation Boost Soup (通乳方)
    Tonifies both Qi and blood. Highly effective for postpartum Qi deficiency, blood weakness, and insufficient lactation. It also has calming and sedative effects, as well as promoting bowel movement. Suitable for women of all constitutions, and even those with sufficient milk production need not worry about excessive lactation.

Ingredients

Codonopsis Root, Astragalus, Angelica Sinensis, Rehmannia, Rhizoma Polygonati, Tong Cao Rice Paper Pith, Sweetgum Fruit, White Peony Root, Trichosanthes Root, Polygala Root, Spiny Jujube Seed, Donkey- hide gelatin (separate packaging)

Cooking Method

  • First, take out the donkey-hide gelatin packed separately.
  • Place the remaining herbs from the soup bag into a pot, then add the cleaned choice of meat (recommended: one pig’s trotter or pig’s tail).
  • Add 10 bowls of water, bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  • Season with salt to taste.
  • Afterward, dissolve the donkey-hide gelatin powder into the medicinal broth, and once the broth cools to a warm temperature, it is ready to be served.

Storage

  • Keep in a cool and dry place or refrigerator that is free from excessive moisture. Do not store in direct sunlight or an area that’s exposed to heat.
